When it comes to attractions the city of Vancouver is one of the most exciting cities to visit with things like the Wild Whale Tour, Whistler Mountain, shopping, museums and the exquisite scenery.

The Wild Wale Tour is one that is an exciting way to see the marine life in the Gulf of Georgia, including the Orca Whale, sea lions and sea otters in their natural surroundings.

Whistler Mountain is another Vancouver attraction that should not be missed no matter what time of year it is, with trails for hiking of every skill level, all types of winter activities and some of the best skiing to be found. This is a glacial mountain and that means the winter fun of skiing and snowboarding can even be done in the warm weather at Whistler Blackcomb.  The slopes on Whistler mountain are impressive enough that it was chosen to be where one of the Official Alpine Skiing venues will be held for the 2010 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games.

For a day of fun, shopping and tasting the local brew there is Grandview Island, this is where there are many shops to find unique items, including a shop especially for children to buy the items they find interesting. There is the Grandview Brewery, this is where tours can be taken, ending with a tasting of the local brew. There are restaurants for a light snack or a seven-course dinner; there are also places on the island for a picnic lunch.

The beaches of Vancouver are special and Jericho is one of the beaches, which has many activities for spending a day of relaxing fun. There is a pier lined with shops, all types of water fun including sailing and there is the Symphony of Fire event yearly. The Symphony of Fire is amazing fireworks show done from boats in the water of all colors reaching high in the air and spreading across the water illuminating the boats.

Golfing is another enjoyable Vancouver attraction at courses like Furry Creek Golf; this is a course that was designed with the assistance of legendary golfers Arnold Palmer and Lee Trevino.
